Possible options of licensing
PS CLEMENTINE PRO with Central Processing architecture can be offered in a few possible license configurations, depending on the resources and needs of the organization:
- One network license reserved for the central processing machine and an exact number of authorized licenses, each for a particular machine. In this model standalone analytical workstations activated with authorized licenses can run simultaneously and independently from others.
- The exact number of network licenses, including one reserved for a central processing machine, and the others for use by workstations. In this model, the solution can be used on an unlimited number of machines, however can operate at the same time up to the maximum number of workstations specified by the number of available machines in the license (including one license for central machine if implemented).
- Mixed model: One network license reserved for a central processing machine, an exact number of authorized licenses for specific machines, and number of network licenses for simultaneous use by any workstation. This model allows analysts to be able to work at any time using authorized licenses and, in addition, allows working concurrently on specified number of machines.
In all of these variants of PS CLEMENTINE PRO solution each analytical machine with given license can work locally using its own analytical engine independent of others. Analytical jobs running on the central processing machine are executed sequentially, according to given license.
PS CLEMENTINE PRO 2.0 CENTRAL PROCESSING without server (with standalone client)

The PS CLEMENTINE PRO license for the Central Machine is licensed on the computer where the PS License Server is installed with the Sentinel RMS License Manager. This is usually a central machine. To update or activate a new license, use the PS Activator tool. The Activation License Wizard (PS Activator) is available in the Predictive Solutions software group.
Authorization of licenses is made via the Internet and this form is easiest and recommended, but requires access to the network. After summarizing the license status, the next step is to display the hardware identifier of the computer (eg 10-2CF83).
